Date: Tue Feb 20, 2001 4:50am Hi Valarie, I have been on prozac off and on for about 5 years. I have never gone over 10 mg. strength, though. I have had muscle stiffness in the neck and shoulder region for last two years and i am not able to sleep peacefully. So I am always tired, almost like chronic fatigue. due to stiff muscles in the shoulder and upper back my arms hurt all the time and all I want to do is sleep but I can't rest and sleep. I am trying to get rid of prozac and I don't feel any different. If anybody has anything to say that can help. I got the tape by dr. Ann Blake Tracy and I have started taking the flaxeed oil and co-q10. need feedback, guys !! Ela Date: Tue Feb 20, 2001 6:43am Response1: Hi Ela, I recognize the stiffness you mention and I thought it was also Lucille who mentioned this. I myself am a regular (weekly) visitor of Sauna and steam bathings here in the Netherlands and they really have helped me, not only to relax but also to feel my body again. Maybe it is something for you to try. Charly Date: Tue Feb 20, 2001 2:07pm Response2: Or maybe you could try massage or a chiropractor? That way you get the physical relief along with the mental relief of a little bit of relaxation. Robin Date: Tue Feb 20, 2001 4:57pm Response3: Massage is VERY important to break up all the acids and toxins stored in your muscles. Also taking baths with any of these items really helps with muscle toxicity -- Apple Cider Vinegar (2 cups -- make sure it is REAL ACV and NOT ACV-FLAVORED), green tea (steep 6 bags for 20 minutes in a quart of water and pour into your bath -- a great detox) and Epsom salts. Happy soaking everybody. Trisha
